![]() ![]() 1 ssd asus hyper card for maximum bandwidth. Download asus maximus vi hero asmedia sata driver 2.0.8.0 motherboard. Is my PC using pci-e 2.0 or not :3eyes:Ģ. It used to always run pci-e 3.0 x16, but now bios, gpu-z and cpu-z all show that it runs pci-e 3.0 x8. Right, it says it is capable of that, but doesn't it say the GTX-1060 it's actually running at x8-v3.0 I thought an Area51-R2 could do x16-v3. My problem isnt exactly like theirs, because everest, nvidia CP and gpu-z all reports pci-e 2.0 is available, and only gpu-z says its not currently in use, so im a little bit confused:ġ. So I started to look all over the web for some info and came to asus forum where people have problem with nvidia cards running in pci-e 1.1 instead of 2.0 - its here: It says "pci-express 2.0 x16 x16, but when you mouse over it it says 2.0 supported, but currently running at pci-e 1.1. Right, it says it is capable of that, but doesnt it say the GTX-1060 its actually running at x8-v3.0 I thought an Area51-R2 could do x16-v3. In idle, GPU-Z says both cards are running at x8 1.1. GPU-Z says its operating x8 1.1 even while rendering and its noticeably slower than the first card. Hi, Im using 2x RX5700 for rendering in Blender (cycles opencl), but I cant get the second GPU to work at PCIe 4.0. Recently I have discovered that gpu-z can give a little bit more detailed info through baloon tips, so that way it tells me my 8800 gt is running in pci-express 1.1 (x16). Second GPU stuck on PCIe 1.1 while rendering.
